Therapy

Comprehensive support under one roof

Whether your child has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, or another genetic syndrome - or is experiencing developmental delays, feeding challenges, sensory processing differences, or speech difficulties - we are here for you.

At BTC, therapy doesn't happen in isolation. Our specialists collaborate across disciplines to understand the whole child, then build a care plan that addresses their specific needs. From your first assessment through to ongoing sessions, we are with you every step of the way.

How it works

1 | Comprehensive Assessment

Every child begins with a thorough assessment. We take the time to understand your child's strengths, challenges, and goals - and the family's needs - before recommending any therapy.

2 | A Personalised Therapy Plan

Based on the assessment, we develop a therapy plan tailored specifically to your child. This may involve one or several of our disciplines working together - with clear goals and regular reviews.

3 | Ongoing Therapy & Support

Therapy sessions are typically 30-45 minutes, depending on your child's age and needs. You'll receive regular progress feedback and practical strategies to support your child's development at home.

Therapies We Offer

BTC works with a multidisciplinary therapy team that provides personalised, evidence-based interventions to support each child's unique needs. Our therapies include:

Occupational Therapy

Through purposeful, age-appropriate activities, our occupational therapists help children develop the sensory, motor, and perceptual abilities they need to participate in daily life - at home, at play, and at school.

Speech-Language Therapy

Our speech-language therapists assess and treat delays and difficulties involving communication, language, and feeding - helping children find their voice and connect with the world around them.

Physiotherapy & Hydrotherapy

Physiotherapy improves muscle strength, tone, range of movement, and postural alignment. In the water, aquatic therapy builds strength, coordination, and confidence in a supportive, low-impact environment.

Play Therapy

Play is how children make sense of the world. Our play therapist uses structured and free play as a powerful tool to support emotional development, communication, and social skills in young children.

Dietetics

Our dietician identifies and treats children at risk of nutrition-related problems - supporting healthy growth, adequate intake, and the management of feeding difficulties or medical dietary needs.

Orthotics & Prosthetics

Custom orthotic devices provide targeted support to improve children's mobility, comfort, and independence - enabling them to move more freely and engage more fully in daily activities.

By combining expertise across disciplines, we create holistic therapy plans that help children overcome challenges, gain independence, and thrive.

For donors
