Ché completed her Honors degree in Social Work and has been providing family and child assessment, intervention and therapy in primary schools for the past 12 years. This intervention has included individual as well as group work methods for children.
She is currently completing a Master's degree in Early Childhood Intervention at the University of Pretoria.
Ché is focusing on implementing play therapy strategies to assist children who have been through various traumatic experiences that disrupt their psychosocial well-being. The experiences that have an impact on a child and family's development may include:
- Grief
- Aggression
- Divorce
- Regulation difficulties
- Trauma
- Abuse
- Anxiety
- Other circumstances
Ché is the mother of two children who bring a lot of joy and keep her on her feet. She is passionate about making a positive change for those with whom she works.
